This is a straight reproduction of one of the finest original 1920s jackets we’ve seen in many decades. We’ve unashamedly replicated every detail of the original and transferred the panelling to a pattern block taken from an old 1920s Mackinaw belonging to our founder that had finally given up the ghost.
The seams on the horsehide shell are triple stitched everywhere for strength, the back collar and cuff linings are corduroy and waist adjustment is by tab and button. Lined in Melton Wool as standard, please note that other options are available on request but will require leather facings on inside.
